About Yasato Distillery tour reservations
We are offering tours with tastings at the Yasato Distillery.
The outline of the tour is as follows. Advance reservations are required.
General Tours
Period: All days of the week except Tuesdays and Wednesdays (according to the schedule on the reservation calendar)
Time slots: (1) from 10:45 a.m., (2) from 12:30 p.m. (only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays), (3) from 2:25 p.m.
Duration: approx. 60 minutes Observe the manufacturing process (approx. 35 minutes) ⇒ Whiskey tasting (approx. 25 minutes)
Meeting place: Yasatao Distillery Visitor Center, 1300 Sugama, Ishioka-shi, Ibaraki 315-0151
Number of participants: 10 for each session
Fee: 1,000 yen (per adult, tax included)
The fee is to be paid at the reception desk (Visitor Center) on the day of the tour.
For those who will be driving on the day of the tour and those who cannot drink alcohol,
If you will be driving on the day of the tour and cannot drink alcohol, you will be given a 500ml bottle of "grape juice" to take home as an alternative to tasting the wine.
The tour is free of charge for those under 20 years of age. However, we do not accept visitors under 20 years old only.

Notes
Reservations must be made at least two days prior to the desired date of participation.
After submitting the reservation form, the system will automatically send you an e-mail to confirm the date.
The location of Yago distillery is 1300 Sugama, Ishioka-shi, Ibaraki 315-0151.
This is different from the location of the Kiuchi Sake Brewery, the main brewery and the beer brewery in Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Please be careful when visiting the Yago Distillery.
During tours and tastings, due to unexpected events such as earthquakes, or for security reasons, the museum staff may ask you to move around the museum or give you guidance. We appreciate your cooperation in such cases.
Access
The Ishioka-Yasato Sightseeing Tour Bus runs from JR Ishioka Station to Yago Distillery. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 1,000 yen one-day free ticket is available on the bus for a round trip from Ishioka Station to the distillery and back.

The bus departs from and arrives at Ishioka Station on and after July 9, 2022. (Notice of bus depot change due to the completion of renovation work at the bus depot (Ishioka Station Bus Terminal))
The bus schedule differs between weekdays and weekends/holidays, and on weekdays, the number of buses running around the site is fewer and the tour time and bus time do not coincide, so please be careful when coming by public transportation on weekdays.
If you come by car, please use the parking lot below the Yago Distillery Visitor Center or the parking lot next to the Yago Distillery (in front of the Obata Community Center and Food Service Center).
Cancellations and changes
We may not be able to accept a change in the number of participants on the day of the event. Please contact us as soon as possible.
If you need to change your reservation after it has been confirmed, please contact us by replying to the confirmation e-mail or calling 0299-56-4411 (YASATO Distillery Visitor Center).
